New Downtown Parking Details

Downtown overnight parking details: 

* 6-8 a.m. meter parking is allowed and will continue to be free 
* 8 a.m.-10 p.m., vehicles must be moved 100 feet after posted time limits (two hours in most cases) 
* 10 p.m.-8 a.m., the posted two-hour parking time restrictions end at 10 p.m., allowing vehicles to park in one space without moving their vehicle (maximum of $6 for the 10-hour overnight period with the two hour free period between 6-8 a.m. included). 

Parking rates: 

* Meters will automatically calculate the parking fee for the period of time desired. 
* 6-8 a.m., meter parking is allowed and will continue to be free 
* 8-2 a.m. parking will be $1 per hour 
* 2-6 a.m. will be 50 cents per hour (previously vehicles were ticketed and potentially towed for parking during these hours) 
* Metered parking from midnight to 11:59 p.m. Sundays and posted holidays will continue to be free. However, drivers will need to pay for parking beginning at midnight Monday or the day after the free holiday.
